Schoharie Master Gardeners holds its annual seed swap on Jan. 29 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Cornell Cooperative Extension on S. Grand Street in Cobleskill. Oneonta Police Release More Info On NBT Bank Robbery

Oneonta Police issued an update on the investigation into last week’s NBT Bank holdup. Clothing belonging to the suspect was found in a dumpster along Elm St. The State Police are aiding in the investigation and anyone with information or surveillance video is asked to contact police at 607-432-1111. State Police seek tips to find an Oneonta man wanted in an assault last Thursday. It happened at a State Route 23 hotel and investigators say the victim was injured by a machete-type knife during an argument. Oneonta Police provide more information into a robbery at NBT Bank. Investigators say the suspect may have been helped by another person driving a 4-door sedan possibly painted red. Beginning today the City of Oneonta Department of Public Works will collect Christmas trees in the daily refuse pickups. Fire Damages Delhi Men’s Shelter

A Delaware-County-operated homeless men’s shelter in Delhi was damaged by fire last Wednesday. According to the Reporter fire companies from Bloomville, Bovina, Walton and Franklin assisted Delhi firefighters at the Main St. home. 4 men were displaced and officials say they are now in other housing.
