Otsego County reported the second COVID-19 related death of 2022. It’s not known if that individual was vaccinated. There are 97 COVID-19 related deaths since March of 2020. 2 Charged In Davenport Home Robbery

2 men face felony charges in a Davenport armed robbery. Police say a man from Davenport and one from Oneonta pistol-whipped the victim last Friday taking a number of items. The 2 men were apprehended the next day and are held on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond each. Low Income Residents Encouraged TAo Apply For Affordable Connectivity Program

Low-income residents are encouraged to sign up for the federal government’s Affordable Connectivity Program that provides discounts of up to $30 a month toward internet service. A 5-year-old from Oxford who has neoblastoma gets what she had been always asking for – her own puppy thanks to Make-A-Wish of Central New York. A Cobleskill attorney announces his candidacy for Schoharie County Judge. According to the Times-Union Ryan McAllister launched his campaign over the weekend. Schools Implement Test To Stay COVID-`9 Protocols

Schools in Delaware County and in the Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES region adopt new COVID-19 guidelines as of today. It’s called “Test-To-Stay” and allows students, teachers and staff to avoid school exclusion by testing negative through rapid or antigen testing. 3 area hospitals continue to postpone electrive surgical procedures because of high patient levels due to COVD-19. Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, A.O. Middleburgh Couple Face Charges From School Incident

A Middleburgh couple face charges from an incident last Wednesday at the village’s elementary school. State Police say it started when a student’s mother made threats when school personnel asked her to pick the student up. Things escalated when the two got to the school.
