The suspect in a Smithville fatal shooting takes a plea deal. According to the Evening Sun Cory D. Voleman pleaded guildy to first-degree manslaughter for killing his then-girlfriend in 2019. The plea agreement calls for a 20-year jail sentence. Coleman was originally charged with murder. A man from Hamden wanted on outstanding warrants is in more trouble for threatening Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies. The Department of Motor Vehicles is planning to expand commercial driver road testing availabilities by allowing qualified third parties to offer tests.
