Lawmakers Propose Increasing Bottle Deposit to 10 Cents

New York’s bottle deposit could double from a nickel to a dime if a bill working through the state legislature passes. A former town of Franklin man taking a plea deal on animal abuse charges is sentenced to 60 days in jail and 3 years’ probation. Charges Filed In Milford Crash

Charges are filed in a Milford crash on Tuesday. According to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office the driver lost control on Route 28 during sub-freezing conditions resulting in their car rolling over. No injuries were reported. The State Department of Health issues new guidance on booster shot requirements for students, teachers, and school staff participating in sports, extracurricular and other after-school activities.
