Otsego County SUNY Student Expelled After Being Seen In Racially-Charged Video

A SUNY College of Environmental Forestry student from Otsego County is expelled after being seen in a video insinuating violence against Black people. According to the Press & Sun-Bulletin the video was posted Jan. 17 and also involved a Chenango County high schooler. That school district is investigating. NY Legislature To Now Complete Redistricting

Redefining New York’s congressional districts is now in the hands of state lawmakers after the commission tasked with that project failed to agree on new maps. Greene Shooting Under Investigation

A shooting in the Village of Greene on Tuesday morning leaves the victim hospitalized in stable condition and the shooter in custody. Police say it happened at a Jackson St. address but no other information was released. State Police and the Chenango County Sheiff’s Office are assisting in the investigation. NY Mask Mandate Is Back On

New York’s public mask mandate is back on after an appellate court stayed a State Supreme Court judge;s ruling that the mandate is unconstitutional. Arrest Made In Edmeston Domestic Dispute

A felony charge is brought in an Edmeston domestic incident that turned physical. Police say the suspect seriously injured the victim then pulled a knife preventing them from leaving.
