Fugitive From Indiana Apprehended In Walton

A fugitive from Indiana is apprehended in Delaware County. According to the sheriff’s office the man was wanted for felony battery resulting in bodily injury to a person under the age of 14. He was found at a Walton home then arraigned in Town of Colchester Court and is held pending extradition. Source: Press release

Grants Available To Help Farmers Protect Soil and Water Quality

DiNapoli Says Money Earmarked for Highway and Bridge Infrastructure Is Being Siphoned Off

A report from State Comproller Thomas DiNapoli finds that just 17% of the Dedicated Highway and Bridge Trust Fund is used for new projects. The rest goes to debt service and operating costs. New York State Farm Laborers Wage Board Recommndw Lowering Overtime Level

The New York State Farm Laborers Wage Board votes to recommend lowering the overtime threshold to 40 hours a week over the next decade. The overtime threshold is currently at 60 hours a week.
