Regulations to Reduce Methane Emissions from Oil and Natural Gas Sector Now Finalized

Regulations are now finalized requiring significant reductions in methane and other harmful emissions from any oil and natural gas infrastructure in New York. The goal is reducing methane emissions by more than 14,000 metric tons per year and volatile organic compound emissions by over 2,000 tons per year. SUNY No Longer Withholds Transcripts Of Tuition-Debt Students

The State Universitty of New York stops withholding transcripts for students with outstanding tuition balances. According to Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office the goal is to eliminate this practice across all publuc colleges and universities in New York. As of 2020, about 19,000 students still owed money.
