An investigation is under way into a fire at The Zone’s Girls Camp in Gilboa. According to Schoharie County Emergency Services a passer-by called 9-1-1 and the preliminary findings determined it was arson. 8 fire companies responded and 3 buildings were destroyed. Sherburne Man Charged With Forcible Touching

A Sheburne man is facing Forcible Touching and Endangering the Welfare of a Child charges. Police say the man worked as a school bus driver and inappropriately touched three students, ages 14, 15 and 16. Sentence Handed Down In Trooper Shooting

The Deposit man convicted of attempted first-degree murder for shooting a State Trooper is sentenced to 30 years to life. Prosecutors say Scott Mawhiney opened fire when the trooper arrived to investigate a domestic abuse call. The trooper suffered an arm injury.
