Carlisle Post Office Temporarily Closing

Today is the final day of operation for the Carlisle Post Office. According to the Cobleskill Times-Journal the office on Route 20 will be shut down as the Postal Service looks for a new location. NY Now Requires Stretch Limos To Have Seat Belts

New York now requires all stretch limousines to have seat belts at all passenger seating positions. The law was passed in response to the 2018 Schoharie limo crash that killed 20 people. Owners of limos altered prior to January 2021 have 2 years to get belts installed. Sidney Man Facing Federal Firearms Charge

A man from Sidney faces a federal firearms charge from an investigation last summer by Sidney Police and the Department of Homeland Security. Delaware County Public Health records the 14th COVID-19 related death since the start of the year.
