The DMV recovered over $1.65 million for consumers who received faulty or fraudulent service from auto dealers and repair shops. That includes recovering vehicle titles when dealerships closed abruptly, assisting in repairs or refunds, and getting dealerships to buy back vehicles in some cases to settle disputes. The Attorney General’s office releases a list of the top consumer complaints for 2021. Topping the list are internet-related complaints including internet service providers and data breaches. Office of Mental Health Announces Funding To Reduce Stigma Associated with Mental Illness

The New York State Office of Mental Health is awarding grants for projects aimed at reducing the stigma associated with mental illness. Qualifying agencies can apply for up to $15,000 in grant awards. The money comes from the income-tax check off which contributes to the grant program.
