Otsego County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes K-9 Tracer

The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office adds a new K-9 officer to its team. K-9 Tracer is assigned to Handler Deputy Sheriff Jessica Thornhill and the pair were certified as an Explosive Detection Canine Team in June of 2020. The Otsego County Sheriff’s Officce announced that K-9 member Ricky is now retired and will live with his former handler Deputy Sheriff Keith Sheldon. In addition to working in the execution of numerous narcotics search warrants and vehicle searches Ricky also regularly participated in community outreach and youth programs. Up to $1 Million Available To Expand Opioid Treatment Program Services

New York makes funding available for Opioid Treatment Program Providers to establish additional locations outside of their current facilities. According to Gov. Teenegers Charged In Richmondville Homicide

Charges are filed in a January homicide in Richmondville. According to News 10 at 18-year-old from the Albany area and a 17-year-old are accused of killing Connor Delaney at his Hite Road home.
