It’s four years behind bars for a Sidney man pleading guilty to selling methamphetamine. Prosecutors say Thomas J. Wright, Jr. admitted to selling the meth in Sidney. Wright will be on 2 years of post-release supervision after his sentence.

State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s office reports local sales tax collections increased by 1.5% in April compared to the same month in 2022. Overall, local collections totaled $1.74 billion, up $25.8 million compared to the same time last year.
