Originally scheduled to expire in December 2024, Dr. Ibrahim’s contract has been extended through the end of 2029. NY Announces Major Crackdown to Combat Wage Theft

NY is taking major actions to combat wage theft. The Wage Theft Task Force recently secured felony convictions and agreements from more than a dozen businesses and 265 individuals to pay nearly $3 million in wage restitution and contributions owed to the state since the beginning of the pandemic. NY Launches Workplace Sexual Harassment Hotline

NY launched a workplace sexual harassment hotline. It will connect workers who have faced sexual harassment with experienced pro-bono attorneys to advise them. State Tax Receipts Exceed Projections

Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s office reports state tax receipts totaled $34.4 billion through the first quarter of the fiscal year. That exceeds forecasts by $1.7 billion. Hartwick’s Dono Wins World Championship in Ultimate

Jonathan Dono, systems manager in Hartwick College’s Technology Services department traveled to Limerick, Ireland for the World Flying Disk Federation’s World Masters Ultimate Club Championships.
