A Milford woman accused of animal creutly has pleaded not guilty. The Delaware County DA’s office says Whitney Bachanas appeared in Milford Town Court Tuesday, where she was assigned a public defender. The Delaware County DA is handling the case due to potential conflict issues regarding Bachanas’s employment as an Oneonta Town Clerk. Last month, authorities said they discovered a number of deceased animals at a property off Route 35.
