A Chenango County woman recently celebrated her 109th birthday. Grace Gustafson lives in Norwich and celebrated the momentous accasion with her many family members that include great-great grandchildren. She was born in South New Berlin and moved to Norwich when she was 15 years old. She worked for the Bengert family and Bengert Pharmaceutical for more than four decades. The mayor’s office presented Gustafson with a proclamation on her birthday and she even got a mention on NBC’s Today show.
