Oneonta’s new Market Street mural at the Foothills Performing Arts Center will be done by Yulia Avgustinovich. Avgustinovich was chosen as the winner of a competition that closed on June 1st. Both the performing arts center and the Oneonta Public Arts Commission will chip in the funding to pay the artist, who was chosen on Friday. The Daily Star reports that Avgustonovich lives in Washington DC and is known for her work in several cities across the country, including in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana and California.
