4 Arrested During New Berlin Animal Abuse Investigation

Four people have now been arrested in connection to a New Berlin-area animal abuse case we reported last month. Dozens of animals were found neglected or abused on April 21st after authorities received an anonymous tip regarding two farm properties; one on Clark Lane and the other on Pig Farm Lane. The Susuquehanna SPCA has since taken custody of many animals. Others had to be euthanized. A state police spokesperson said there are 107 animals ranging from pigs, horses, donkeys, cats, dogs, llamas, and other animals.
