Norwich Officials Face Cleanup Of Large Homeless Camp

Norwich officials are working to clean up an eyesore in the community. Sheriff’s deputies and city officials confirmed on Friday that a large homeless encampment was discovered near where the bowling alley used to be in norwich’s South Plaza. The camp was recently abandoned due to flooding, leaving behind large piles of trash, tents, needles, propane tanks, clothing, and more… all scattered over several acres due to the high water. Officials said the area smelled of raw sewage.
