A reminder that the state of emergency declaration remains in effect for a portion of the city of Oneonta due to last weekend’s massive house blast and fires. The area involved is on the city’s West End bounded by Whitney Hill Road to the west, Blanchard Avenue to the north, Jackson Avenue on the east, and Chestnut Street on the south. A 9pm curfew is also in effect for this area. Several resources remain available for those impacted. A mobile crisis assessment team will be at town hall throughotu the day today.
