After three years, there are plans for a church building that burned in Cobleskill. The Times Journal reports that the vacant Zion Lutheran Church will be transformed into a performance center that includes a bar and restaurant. RJ Freitag still must close on a deal to purchase the building, which was sold for 150-thousand dollars after being listed for twice that about a year ago. Freitag said he wants to give area residents a better option than having to drive to Albany for their entertainment.
