SUNY Cobleskill is celebrating a grant for flood mitigation along the Cobleskill Creek. In a prepared statement, the state says the 600-thousand dollar grant is designed to implement the goals of the Mohawk River Basin Action Agenda, a five year plan to conserve, preserve, and restore the Mohawk River and its watershed. Over the next two years, the college will work to fix erosion near the atghletic fields and another section near the agricultural fields along the Cobleskill Creek.
