The City of Norwich Police are warning residents about a deadly batch of meth and heroin laced with fentanyl in the aftermath of four suspected drug overdoses late last week. All four occurred within 45 minutes of each other, between 9:15am and 10am Friday morning. and Norwich Fire Department responded to four separate suspected drug overdoses in less than an hour Friday morning, with no deaths reported. All were separate incidents and police are urging family members of those with addiction issues to buy or pick up Narcan at drug stores or local charities.
