The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office is receiving a $4,000 state grant for its child car seat inspection and replacement program. According to the Evening Sun the allotment comes from the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee. The Sheriff’s Office has been an active participant in the state program for more than two decades.
