Personnel from State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s office visited the Hancock Fire Department to follow up on changes made since a 2019 audit. Auditors determined the department made limited progress implementing corrective action. Of the 10 audit recommendations, one recommendation was implemented, three were partially implemented, and six were not implemented.
