The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office has a new K-9 officer. The dog named “Edge” was purchased with a $30,000 Homeland Security grant and will be trained for explosives detection. School Resource Deputy Corporal Jeff Clark will be Edge’s handler and both will begin training soon.
