The State Department of Health issues new guidance on booster shot requirements for students, teachers, and school staff participating in sports, extracurricular and other after-school activities. It says the additional shot is mandatory for any COVID-19 exposure. 5- to- 11-year olds are exempt since they aren’t eligible for boosters.
