State Senator Peter Oberacker announced approval of a pair of bills he sponsored – one to to assist the Oneonta City School District and the other to honor an Army medic from the Town of Butternuts who lost his life in the Vietnam War. The first bill corrects a clerical error and allows the school district to receive $400,000 in state transportation aid. The other proposed to rename a section of State Route 51 for .
