A Hamden level 3 registered sex offender is facing a new charge for violating the state Sex Offender Registration Act. According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office it was a citizen tip which alerted them that 20-year-old Tyler Dibble was using a screen name on social media which was not reported within 10 days as required by the act. Dibble was taken into custody on Tuesday then released on his own recognizance pending an appearance in Delhi Town Court.
