New York is offering grants to municipalities for purchase or lease of zero-emission vehicles for fleet use along with installing public charging stations. Up to $300,000 in rebates are available for municipalities that purchase or lease for a minimum of 36 months. Up to $500,000 is available for municipalities to install hydrogen filling station components or electric vehicle chargers in locations that maximize access by the public. Applications are accepted through Oct. 29 or until funding runs out.
