Starting Friday No COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment Needed For Those 60+

Starting on Friday those 60 and older will not need appointments to get a COVID-19 vaccine shot at state-run vaccination clinics including the one at SUNY Oneonta. Governor Andrew Cuomo says waiving the appointment requirement will help get vaccinations to those more vulnerable to the coronavirus. As of Wednesday, just under 30% of the state population has been fully vaccinated, and just over 42% have received at least one shot.
