The Delaware County Hazard Mitigation Plan update is currently underway and officials are seeking public input to shape those changes. The Plan identifies and evaluates risks and vulnerabilities associated with natural hazards and resulting disasters plus strategies for risk reduction, making the community more resilient. An online survey collects data on hazards, events, vulnerabilities and impacts as well as how governments can become more resilient to the effects of natural disasters.
