The state gives the green light to construction of a wind power farm in the Town of Guilford. The state Board on Electric Generation Siting and the Environment Siting Board approved the 100-megawatt proposal by High Bridge Wind, LLC which they say will create 250 jobs in manufacturing, supply, and construction. Developers say the nearly 4,000 acre site will have wind turbines of close to 700 feet. Generated power will be sold to NYSEG.
