State Senator Peter Oberacker joins with other lawmakers in calling for increased funding to local highway improvements. Oberacker once chaired the Otsego County Public Works Committee and says he understands the importance of critical state funding to road and bridge maintenance. Oberacker and colleages sent Governor Cuomo a letter with proposals on increasing funding depending on how much federal aid to be given under the soon-to-be passed COVID-19 relief package.
