Amusement parks and overnight camps will be able to be open this year as long as they submit reopening plans to the state. Governor Cuomo said this past week that arcades and family entertainment centers can open with 25% capacity in late March. Outdoor amusement parks can open with a third of their normal capacity in early April and overnight camps can open this summer. The drop in infection rates in the state is slower than the rest of the country, but Cuomo said overall statewide drops are enough to begin reopening recreational industries.
