The village of Milford is trying to pick up the pieces after a fire early Friday that gutted several buildings. Firefighters from Otsego County and Pindars Corners helped fight the blaze. The Daily Star is reporting that one victim was rescued by firefighters and was rushed to Bassett medical Center in Cooperstown to be treated. Milford Mayor Brian Pokorny posted a message on Facebook asking all Milford residents to conserve water due to the large amount of water used to fight the fire.
