A Sidney man has pleaded guilty to druig and weapon charges. 47 year old Michael Thiel was in court this week. As part of the plea deal, a prosecutor recommended he serve 2-4 years in state prison for the gun crime and up to 3 years for the drugs. Thiel was the focus of a search warrant served on a Sidney home in September of last year at 50 Main Street. Deputies reported finding loaded guns and illegal narcotics after receiving an anonymous tip.
