A new service called GetThere is offering rides to residents of Broome, Tioga, Chenango, Delaware and Otsego Counties. GetThere is aimed at those who are shut in or otherwise don’t have access to critical services like doctor’s appointments and grocery stores. GetThere is a program offered by Rural Health Network of SCNY. Anyone can call GetThere at 855-373-4040 to schedule a ride. While there is a cost, GetThere says nobody will be denied service due to an inability to pay.
