Chobani says it will make a 1.2 billion dollar investment in the region… building a 1.4 million square foot facility in Rome, New York. The facility will be able to make more than a billion pounds of dairy products each year. Chobani says the facility will also create 1-thousand new jobs in the Mohawk Valley and nearly double the company’s total New York state workforce. Chobani’s latest facility will be built at the Griffiss Business and Technology Park.
