A city committee in Oneonta has received updates on major items. On Thursday, the Finance and Human Resources Committee told the mayor and council members about city debt and were told that 14 job vacancies in the city have been reduced to nine. The council was also told about a lease agreement for the transit center. Council also received an update on a project to replace lead water lines in homes. Around 130 property owners have been contacted, encouraging participation in the program.
