GMU Superintrndent Announces Her Retirement

The superintendent of the Gilbertsville-Mount Upton Central School District has annoucned her retirement. Annette Hammond will leave the post in July after the current school year is complete. She has led the district for the past ten years and has 16 years total with the district. In her resignation letter to the school board, Hammond said she will leave with feelings of pride and accomplishment. The board has not yet discussed how it will go about selecting a new GMU superintendent.
