The Bramley Mountain Fire Tower will open to the public for the first time in a half century. The group called Friends of the Bramley Mountain Fire Tower have worked to restore the historic tower to its original state in Delhi. On Friday, the group announced in a prepared statement that it had received proper code enforcement certificates to allow the public inside. A celebration was held Saturday to allow the first visitors. Because the tower will operate with volunteers, there will only be occasional openings through the winter months.
