A house fire in Oneonta on Tuesday. Emergency crews responded to the home at 1 Linden Avenue and found light smoke drifting from the eaves of the porch. Once firefighters were able to investigate, they found heavier smoke inside from a fire that appeared to have been in the basement. nobody was home at the time of the fire. One cat ran out the door as firefighters entered. The pet has not yet been found. A damage estimate and cause of the fire are not yet available.
