New York State Polcie are again sending out a warning of a scam involving EZPass. The scam texts ask peopole for an unpaid toll to be settled or they could face an extra charge of $150. State Polcie and EZPass ay tolls by mail will never send anyone an email or text requesting sensitive information, including credit card numbers or bank account numbers. If you get one of these texts, just delete and block the number.
