A record number of vendors are said to be participating in this year’s edition of the Otsego County Fair in Morris, which kicked off on Tuesday. This is the 79th annual fair, according to manager Lisa Jackson. For the first time in at least 15 years, the grandstand booths are completely full of vendors. Admission from today to Sunday is $6, with free admission Wednesday and Saturday for veterans and active military and half price admission for seniors age 60 and older Friday. Parking will be free all week. Grandstand event tickets are $10 from Thursday onward.
