Plane Crash Near Masonville Claims Five Lives

New details after a small airplane went down near Masonville on Sunday. The NTSB had arrived on the scene of the wreckage and we have since confirmed that the single engine aircraft took off from the Nader Regional Airport in Oneonta. The Piper Malibu Mirage was headed to Charleston, West Virginia, when it crashed under unknown circumstances, killing all five members of a Georgia family who were in the region for a baseball tournament in Cooperstown, according to state police. The FAA is said to be assisting the NTSB in the investigation.
