An Oneonta business has been forced to close it’s doors amid allegations of illegal operation. The New York Office of Cannabis Management forced the shut down of Dream Exotic and Smoke Shop, located at 389 Chestnut Street. A notice of violation posted on the front door says that authorities seized alleged illegal cannabis products. The notice says the business can appeal the order, which appears to have been posted on July 8th. Despite the legalization of adult-use cannabis three years ago, business must apply for a license to operate and pay appropriate taxes on the sale of their products.
