Everyone Safe After House Fire In Sidney

Fire crews from several communities responded to a blaze in in Sidney. Fire Chief John Gilmore said the alarm went out just after 7pm on Friday, crewsresponded to the report of a hosue fire with a possible entrapment on East Main Street. Several elderly and disabled people were still inside the home, but firefighters arriving on the scene were able to get everyone out of the home safely. Two people did have to be checked out for smoke inhalation, but are doing fine today.
