Water Infrastructure Funding For Oneonta

New York Congressman Marc Molinaro has announced more than 4 million dollars in federal funding has been awarded to the town and city of Oneonta for water infrastructure upgrades. The announcement came during a Monday news confernce at the town’s Robert Wood Water Building in Fortin Park. The funding will allow for the installation of about 7-thousand linear feet of sewer and water pipeline extensions. Town Supervisor Randy Mowers said the improvements wouldn’t be possible without the guiding work from Wood, who started the Southside Water Project many years ago.
