New information on damaging weather over the weekend. A survey team from the National Weather Service has determined an EF-1 rated torando tounched down in Herkimer County near the town of West Winfield on Saturday, damaging buildings and uprooting trees. An EF-1 tornado is considered a weak tornado, with winds up to 100 miles per hour. The twister was on the ground for about two miles. Two homes sustained extensive damage.
