You may have noticed work beginning at the Solider’s Monument in Delhi’s Courthouse Square. The work started Monday and is being performed by Lupini Construction of Utica at a cost of around 500-thousand dollars. The initial work involves the removal of the four mortars and the fence around the monument. Those items will then be sent to a restoration company. Once that work is complete, then work will begin to repair the stone monument.
